With over 20 years of experience in the food industry, our journey began with Taquería Don Chuy. Today, we return to our roots with our newest project: La Fonda La Chata. Our goal is simple—to serve exceptional food at an affordable price. Everything we offer is freshly made, from our handmade tortillas to our crispy fries, because we believe quality starts from the ground up. Our menu features classic home-style dishes inspired by the vibrant, bustling markets of Guanajuato. Dozen breakfast tacos
We offer a dozen tacos, available on flour or corn tortillas. Choose from the following fillings: bacon and egg, ham and egg, chorizo and egg, nopales and egg, rajas and egg, cheese and egg, or beans and egg. Each taco includes one salsa—your choice of our famous molcajete salsa or our spicy habanero salsa for those who like extra heat.

Breakfast Tortas (12 per order) are made with traditional telera bread and filled with two eggs, cheese, mayo, and your choice of chorizo, bacon, ham, or plain. Each order is served with a hash brown on the side.

Torta box set(12 per order)
The Torta Set includes 12 tortas, each served with avocado, tomato, lettuce, onion, and mayo, and your choice of milanesa de res, ham, pollo, or a vegetarian option with queso fresco. Each set comes with a bag of chips and a cup of our house-made salsa, specially prepared for dipping.

The Burrito Box Set includes a premade burrito filled with rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, and your choice of beef, chicken, or pastor. Each set comes with a side of chips and salsa, plus extra salsa for your burrito.
Taco Bar
The Taco Bar is for those who want to take control of their own destiny. It comes with your choice of ground beef or chicken, rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, Mexican cheese, and a basket of chips, along with your choice of two salsas. Each set also includes utensils, napkins, plates, and serving utensils, so you can build your tacos exactly the way you want—stress-free!

Authentic Fiesta pack
This pack includes traditional carnitas and barbacoa, along with made-from-scratch chicken mole. It’s served with rice, garbanzos, beans, salsa, and your choice of homemade flour or corn tortillas.
Ranchero fiesta pack
This pack features your choice of four favorite appetizers: mini gorditas, mini pambazos, mini enchiladas mineras, mini tacos, and mini sopes. All Ranchero Packs come with nopalitos salad, chips, salsa, and guacamole.
